*Installation*

  1. Select a location to mount your ladder that provides a strong, reliable attachment surface.
  2. Avoid weak areas or areas surrounded by weak sections.
  3. Make sure there is plenty of clearance between the ladder and propellers or other dangerous equipment.
  4. Ladders must be mounted with 1/4'' diameter, stainless steel bolts with large backing washers or a plate to distribute stress over the mounting surface.
  5. Before drilling any holes test your selected hole locations by holding the ladder in place and testing its full range of motion and function to be sure that the ladder does not bind or interfere with anything near it.
  6. If the mounting brackets are not mounted parallel the ladder may bind excessively. To prevent this attach one side of the ladder and then carefully position the other bracket where it allows the best sliding action.
  7. Tighten all fasteners and carefully check the installation and operation before climbing on ladder.

*Operation*

  1. On telescoping models, if when collapsing the ladder you apply pressure to only one side, the step may seem to get stuck. Simply press on the other side of the step to release it.
  2. Ladder should be stored up to prevent steps and handrails from becoming slippery.
